Concept

The Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) is a professional kart racing series established, owned and organized by BRP-Powertrain
and its distributors. The RMC is a "one-make-engine" formula: only Rotax kart engines are allowed. There are three different
race classes: 125 Junior Max, 125 Max, 125 Max DD2.

The RMC is authorized and sanctioned by CIK/FIA, using Rotax kart engines which are checked and sealed (for equal
performance). The sealing is done by authorized distributors or their authorized service centres when it comes to national
and international RMCs. As this is an invitational race, BRP-Powertrain supplies all engines and karts at the GRAND FINALS,
which also means that engines for this race are sealed by specialists from BRP-Powertrain .

By following the "Rotax Sporting and Technical Regulations" of the Rotax MAX Challenge and by using a mandatory type of
tyre (MOJO®), the success in the competition is mainly up to the skills of the driver and his/her experience in the set up of
the combination of the engine and the chassis.

Authorized distributors of Rotax kart products offer their customers a national RMC program according to the
"Rotax Sporting and Technical Regulations” defined by BRP-Powertrain.

This results in a fair competition between semi-professional kart racers that share the same interests.

 Grand finals

The overall series winners of the three classes in each national ROTAX MAX Challenge and the international ROTAX MAX Challenge
events held around the world, will be invited by BRP-Powertrain along with its distributors and sponsors to compete in the annual
‘ROTAX MAX Challenge GRAND FINALS’.

This fantastic prize includes the supply of kart chassis, engine, tyres, fuel, entry fees and accommodation for the drivers
who qualify. In the true Olympic spirit, the ‘FINALS’ bring together teams and spectators from around the world, in an
organised schedule over five days.

This coming year will see the crowning of the sixth ROTAX GRAND FINALS Champions. The first ever Finals was held in
Puerto Rico, USA and from then on, has grown even bigger each year.
